12. NOTICES
12.1 Any notice required to be given to any member of the Congregation or member of the Council shall be deemed to be sufficiently given by leaving the same at, or sending it prepaid through the post addressed to the last known address of such member. Every notice sent through the post shall be deemed to have been received at the expiration of one clear day for first class or three clear days for second class from the time at which it was posted.

Subject to the Secretary having received written confirmation from the recipient, which confirmation may be revoked by that recipient by written notice to the Secretary at any time, any notice required to be given to any member of the Congregation or member of the Council shall be deemed to be sufficiently given if it is sent by email to an address previously notified for such purpose by the recipient to the Secretary. Every notice sent by email shall be deemed to have been received one day after it is sent.

12.2 An accidental omission to send a notice of any meeting to any member of the Congregation or of the Council shall not invalidate the proceedings at such meeting.
